Dannelle D. Stevens is professor, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, Portland State University, and the co-author of Introduction to Rubrics. She and Joanne E. Cooper have been teaching journal keeping together for ten years and have led workshops, published scholarly articles, book chapters and conference papers on this topic. They have also written another book, Tenure in the Sacred Grove: Issues and strategies for women and minorities. This is an edited volume that presents the challenges along the path toward tenure and provides strategies that are helpful, especially for women and minorities.
Joanne E. Cooper is a professor in the Department of Educational Administration, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
